EPSA 2009
Scientific Advisory Board
The EPSA team at EIPA - for its academic implementation - was accompanied by a Scientific Advisory Board, composed of an internationally acknowledged group of high-level academics in the different public sector fields and representing the different cultural spheres with the objectives:
- to assist EIPA in the identification, discussion, formulation and recommendation of the 2009 EPSA themes addressing Europe's most pressing public concerns
- to offer advice and opinions to EIPA with regard to the definition and formulation of the eligibility criteria for project submitters/proposers and of the evaluation process and its criteria for the assessment of the applications per theme
- to advise EIPA – in view of the selection of themes – on the direction and definition of the research and benchmark focus for its state-of-the-art reports per topical theme
The members of the Scientific Advisory Board were not involved in the evaluation process of the EPSA 2009 applications.
Its first meeting took place on 19 September 2008 in Maastricht.
